So, it's only been a week and a half since May 22nd and I think we are doing pretty good as far as planning goes. Trevor and I are really excited for everything that's in our future. Today we wrapped up our apartment hunt for the most part. We have a great choice as our top and a back-up apartment complex if the first one doesn't work out for some reason. Our top pick is the College Apartments in Provo. This complex is a block away from campus and our favorite parking lot and about 15 minutes away from each place we work(maybe even shorter for me). Some more good things about this place is that we will only need to pay gas and electric on top of our rent because rent includes cable and internet. This place is also 50sq. ft. larger than choice #2. Heritage Court is our second choice and has a lot of pros as well. It is closer to our work places(a little bit further from school), it is out of the 2 mile radius around BYU, which means it would probably be more peaceful, and it is just about the same price except everything is paid separately (Gas, Electric, Internet, Cable etc.), which I can see being a pain.
We really can't go wrong with these two places, both are pretty affordable, I've been avoiding saying the price/month because I'm pretty sure anyone from California would pass out from the difference lol. We can picture living in each location. We will just have to see if our top choice excepts us and that there aren't any surprises. : )
We are planning on taking engagement photos this weekend here in Utah. I'm in the midst of choosing a photographer in the bay area back home. There is a lot of wonderful people to choose from, but they are mostly unaffordable. Depending on which venue we choose to get married at, the easier it will be to adjust the budget a bit.
And in case you're wondering we are still managing to stay afloat in school this semester! Hopefully, we can hold on through the end of the June. Summer term starts shortly after, which makes things a little more tricky, but we will cross that bridge later.
