Homemade Pizza!

Jesse & Trevor's Adventures in Pizza making:

We made our dough from Bisquick! (1 and 1/2 cup of Bisquick and 1/3 cup of hot water)
After you mix the dough, oil the pizza pan you are using (we have a cheap metal 13" pizza pan that we bought from Riteaid)
Start in the middle and press towards the edges of the pan. I went in a circle, but anyway you see fit to flatten the dough out and cover the pan will work just fine.
I tried at the end to push the edges together to avoid big cracks in the crust.
ALSO on this pizza we decided to add some italian seasonings to the dough... I thought it made it taste better.
Spread your favorite Pasta/Pizza Sauce over the flattened dough
Pick out your favorite Spices... these are just a few we thought would be good
Basil, peppercorn medley, italian herbs seasonings.... etc.
Sprinkle the spices all over
Add your diced white or yellow onion over the top, we like our onion!
We also added fresh minced garlic in this step.
Slice spinach into manageable pieces and arrange evenly over pizza.
You can also add fresh basil here too!
Don't worry about it being perfect, you just want to try your best to spread ingredients evenly so that the entire pizza cooks better and you don't end up with a soggy middle. Trevor's good at making everything cook evenly and a good cook overall! I call him Master Chef and I am happy with being sous chef! LOL
Here it is! Finally a clear picture!
Time for cheese! We use "Precious" Mozzarella and grate it into a bowl, everything on this pizza was not measured (expect for dough) and instead done by sight and personal preference. Makes it really easy : )
Sprinkle cheese on the pizza, don't neglect the edges : )
Time for tomatoes!
We found that baking the tomatoes on top of the cheese cooked them more throughly,  was easier to eat, and cooked out excess moisture so that you avoid a soggy pizza once again. Also the tomatoes brown a little bit and make it look like a REAL pizza!
Here we added a little bit of grated parmesan and green onion to the top.
Place on the rack in the most middle of your oven, the middle of ours is the bottom rack.
We baked our pizza at 400 DEGREES for 15-20 minutes. Our oven is older so it usually takes a full 20 minutes.
And VIOLA! a pizza!
Our camera is so weird... but it made the pizza surface look so warm and delicious!
mmmmmm!

We hope to try making more pizzas with a different dough.   I grew up with Bisquick, so I like the taste, but it definitely tastes a little bit sweet and is more of a soft cookie texture. Still good, but we want to try different recipes to get a more authentic pizza crust!

Happy Cooking!
